The Olympus FR-WR is a dedicated receiver that delivers wireless lighting via radiowave control when paired with the Olympus dedicated radiowave commander (FC-WR) or the flash with built-in radiowave wireless commander (FL-700WR). This system delivers the high reliability of a splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof design and excellent, user-friendly controls.
As opposed to to optical control, radiowave control offers stable communication even in bright outdoor conditions and when there are obstructions in the area. Communication is possible up to 30 meters. This receiver allows multi-flash unit photography is possible with up to three flash groups. An unlimited number of flash units can be connected. X-RCV (individual settings) is available for configuring the flash mode and output on the flash connected to the receiver. This design feature makes it easy to operate even during handheld off-camera flash photography. A sync terminal is also included on the product. This can be used to connect monoblock flash units and generators in studio photography.
